About the Artist

I am a Brooklyn-born artist with a very urban sensibility and a proud transplant to Takoma Park. My work spans a range of paintings, mixed media, collage, drawing, and hand lettering. I work very slowly when doing artwork and I like to experiment with streetscapes, faces, coffee mugs, belonging, and solitude - or, sometimes, just the weaving together of words, lines and shapes.

I have sold paintings and mixed media pieces through Takoma Artery and I am the author and illustrator of two children's books: The Secret Guide to Being a Big Sister and Blue Collar Cat Guy. My children's books explore the joy of being close to family and friends.
