Julie Paez

I am a long time resident of Takoma/DC. In 2022 I retired from the day to day ownership duties of The Big Bad Woof which allowed me to return to making art.

I collect native plant material and discarded wood to create stories about the natural world around us. Much of my work focuses on the importance of native plants, and the declining pollinator habitat.
