About the Artist

I am a woodturner who has lived in Takoma Park for over 30 years. Almost all of my raw material is from dead trees coming down in TP or neighboring communities. Many of my pieces are utilitarian and I try to reveal the natural beauty of the wood. Other pieces are purely decorative and are embellished with pyrocarving and application of colors.
